Qingdao Jiaodong International Airport has one main terminal (T1) opened on 12 August 2021, replacing the old Liuting Airport. T1 is designed in the shape of a sea star (starfish) and handles both domestic and international flights. Future terminals T2 and T3 are planned.1 terminal, handling both domestic and international flights. Check-in counters, security screening, departure gates, and arrivals are all within the same building.
